José Ignacio Armesto Quiroga

Industrial Engineer and PhD from the University of Vigo (1992 and 2001). Associate Professor since 2003, teaching since 1992. His research interests include industrial automation, real-time control, and international standards (ISO/IEC). Co-author of over 25 publications, participant in more than 15 research projects and 50 contracts with companies. Chairman of the organizing committee of the JAI since 2004 (10 editions). He has supervised over 50 academic works and held various positions at the University of Vigo. Extraordinary PhD award.
